Kanela Studios Facilities & Services
Although we don’t have a pool there is an open-to-all swimming pool right next to our accommodation; plus Alykes beach, with the crystal clear, pool-like water, is just 30 meters away!
Kanela Café, our café -bar, is situated just in front of Kanela Studios. There you can enjoy your coffee, beverages, drinks and cocktails along with selected snacks.
All our guests also have discounts in Kanela Cafe and selected Traditional Products from Kanela Store.
Kanela Traditional Products Store, hosted in our café-bar, is situated just in front of Kanela Studios. There you can buy selected traditional products such as extra virgin olive oil from our olive groves, wine from our vineyards as well as other local products from Zakynthos.
All our guests also have discounts in Kanela Cafe and selected Traditional Products from Kanela Store.
We offer a variety of activities, a different activity every day, to assist you meeting and experiencing the real Zakynthos. Our off-site activities include horse hacking, kayaking, scuba diving & snorkeling, hiking, sightseeing tours, Greek cooking lessons and pastry lessons while you can enjoy live music sessions and cinema nights onsite at Kanela Café and Kanela Studios!

Free public parking available in a very short distance (about 50 m.) from Kanela Studios.
We currently do not provide transfers for our guests. The best way to arrive to our accommodation would be to take a taxi from the taxi station located just outside the airport.

If though you prefer independence and would like to have your own wheels during your holidays, it would be an even better option to order your car at the airport so you can also save the taxi fares.
We co-operate with some of the best local car rentals on the island to provide you with quality transportation in competitive prices. Free delivery and pick-up from/to the airport and port is included within business hours.
If you would like to rent a car or motorbike for your transfers around the island, we would be happy to help you rent one at competitive prices since we cooperate with several local car rental agencies.
Breakfast is currently not served, but there are some breakfast products in Kanela Café, which opens at about 10.00 am. There is also a supermarket almost across the street where you can buy products and prepare breakfast yourself at the room.
High speed Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in most common areas of the accommodation free of charge. We cannot though guarantee certain speed specific to application requirements as it may vary depending on guests usage and internet provider.

Although our neighborhood is a safe place, and our staff is highly reliable, a safe is available in all rooms, free of charge for your own peace of mind.

The Area
Just 30 meters away! You practically exit Kanela Studios, turn to the right and you hit the beach!
From Ithaca you can arrive to Zakynthos :
1. From Ithaca (Pisaetos Port) to Kefalonia (Sami port) by ferry, then from Sami drive to Pesada port, then with a ferry to Zakynthos (Agios Nikolaos port), then drive to Alykes by car to reach us. Ferry company to operate Ithaca-Kefalonia and Kefalonia-Zakynthos is: ionionpelagos.com
2. From Ithaca (Pisaetos Port) to Kyllini Port by ferry, then from Kyllini Port to Zakynthos Main Port by another ferry, then drive to Alykes by car to reach us. Ferry company to operate Ithaca-Kyllini and Kyllini-Zakynthos is: levanteferries.com.
You have to check with them for itineraries and details. Levante Ferries has an online reservation system; Ionion Lines needs to be called.
There is a supermarket almost across the street where you can buy what you need and it is usually open all day long including weekends.
There is an ATM / Bancomat machine just next to Kanela Studios.
Alykes offers a wide variety of restaurants for everyone, from fast-food restaurants to beautiful beach-side elegant restaurants. As Kanela Studios is centrally located, you have easy access to most of them.

Regarding your room preference, kindly note that we do not assign specific physical rooms to our guests at the time of the reservation. We note your preferences down and, although we can’t promise, will try our best to fulfill your request.
